THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 2nd PRESS *MONO* LP
**DECCA PRESSING**
Unable to keep up supply with demand, a limited quantity of this LP was pressed by Decca at the request of EMI in early 1964.
This fine and rare 1963 mono DECCA pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels includes omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The distinctive 'Decca groove' can be seen on both labels.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' misspelt '..Gotta..' mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' polylined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N

Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces retain their deep gloss shines, bearing just some wispy paper hairlines visible on close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no scratches, scuffs or marks anywhere, and both side lie 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This well looked after and carefully played copy features high quality Decca sound with very little deterioriation to the sound quality.
The sound is loud, warm and clear, and aside from a touch of wear on 'Til There Was You', there is little to fault here.
Both run-ins and all bands play extremely quietly with no interference and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This fine example displays a totally unscratched high-gloss laminate bearing just a few light wrinkles but no discolouration or yellowing.
All corners are clean and square with just a minor bruise to the lower right. The opening edges are clean, sharp and toally unworn.
The rear panel is clean and white with just a few small ageing spots, but no writing or missing paper.
All seams and the spine are unstressed and unsplit.
