Labels: NEAR MINT

A superb, unworn set with just two tiny spindle trials around each totally unworn centre hole. The side 2 label bears a faint fingerprint, most likely made during the printing process.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine, deep-gloss' playing surfaces which are MINT and 'as new' in strong daylight with no trace of any surface marks or wear whatsoever. Even close examination beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines but absolutely no other blemishes or wear on this spectacular copy. No upgrade required.

Play: NEAR MINT

Palyed once of twice at most in high-end equipment by its previous careful owner, the sound throughout this totally unworn copy is perfectly clean & clear. Every track plays with such warmth and power, without any hint of background crackle or groove/play wear distortion. Even the most vulnerable areas such as the often overplayed title track and the complex introduction to 'Only A Northern Song' play perfectly. The orchestral suite on side 2 plays immaculately without a hint of background interference, let alone any clicks, pop or tick. You won't find a better sounding disc.

Cover: EXCELLENT

This strong, vibrant & early example retains an impressive high-gloss front laminate where the only blemishes are a few tiny specks of missing paper towards the lower edge. However, the rest the panel is spectacularly vivid and free from any 'thumbnails' or storagewear rubbing. The corners are all clean & unbumped and both opening edges are undamaged. The rear panel is bright and white but has two pen marks aside the final 2 songs on the side 1 track-listing. However, all flipbacks are perfectly clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are unstressed and unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat with just two tiny tears to the top of the centre window but no damage or wear to the top edges or any stresses or splits to any seam.
