CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A superb pair with just a handful of light spindle marks to each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean, bright & deep-gloss surfaces which display just a small number of insignificant inner-sleeve removal hairlines in strong daylight on side 1 but a blemish-free side 2. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals no further significant marks or wear to either side.
Play: 1. VERY GOOD + 2. EXCELLENT
This respectable copy has not been played very often at all and apart from some minor background crackle on the 'Yellow Submarine' title-track, it plays without any significant or major audible wear. The delicate orchestral side plays cleanly and clearly and without any clicks, pops or other such distraction to spoil the listening.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
An outstanding example of this rare, early cover which retains a pristine, undamaged and unscratched high-gloss laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other significant wear. There is slight bruising to the left corners but all are otherwise clean & sharp and both opening edges appear untouched. The rear panel is as white as it could be with just a few faint lines in the paper from manufacture but no fingermarks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are perfectly clean & fully intact. There is an almost invisible 3.5cms repair to the upper seam but the lower one is perfect, as is the fully worded spine.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just the inevitable light disc impression but no tears, splits or damage to any area.
Take a listen to the song 'Hey Bulldog', recorded directly from this copy on the player below:
