1969 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**NEAR MINT EARLY PRESSING**
This outstanding 1969 UK early 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in the earliest type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with blank lower flipback.
Complete with its original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1

Pristine, bright & glossy surfaces, both sides with no signs of any groove-whitening, dulling to the surfaces or surface marks in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few faint inner-sleeve storage marks but no other wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This disc has received just a few careful plays on top quality equipment as every track is free from background noise or groovewear.
Even the easily damaged introduction to 'It's Only A Northern Song' & 'It's All Too Much' play without fault, as does the innermost track.
The delicate orchestral side plays perfectly with no background crackle, hiss, clicks, pops of other such wear.
Both run-ins and all bands play without intereference & there are no other audible faults anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A super example of the earliest type cover for this title with its lightly toned front panel and vibrant, deep colours.
The front laminate is clean ,glossy and unscratched with just a few tiny spine wrinkles and a single 'thumbnail' crease towards the opening.
There is a tiny rub to the lower right corner but both opening edges are clean & unworn.
The rear panel displays some light handling marks no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are clean and the seams & spine are itact & undamaged.
Both discs have been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
