Final price reduction...and a true bargain.. Nice Beatles "Yesterday and Today" #3 Mono Butcher Cover LP. This was peeled by the original owner back in 1966 and they did a pretty nice job I think. The colors are vivid and the detail is crisp and clear. There is very little glue residue left over from the peel which gives it much more of a 1st state look, as the #3 Butchers used a water soluable glue which was much easier to remove and peel than the #5 & 6 LA copies which used a completely different and very hard to remove alcohol based glue. Due to the easier to remove water soluable glue that was used on these #3 copies, the paste-over could usually simply be steamed off with pretty good results and a little care and patience. You will notice that there are a few minor and nicely done art pencil touch up's the largest area being just above Ringo's hair, and there are a few smaller areas which are easily visible in the photos. Seams were split but they have been neatly reglued and repaired. Compared to some of the other copies I have seen that have sold for more despite having huge chunks of the Butcher missing and lots of glue residue, this is a pretty good value for the money if you don't care to spend more for a perfect copy.
