THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES'
This exclusive stereo compilation from 1964 was available only via the German Record Club (Deutscher Schallplattenclub)
The tracks are a mixture of true & reprocessed stereo and bear their own red & black label design label: J 033
Machine stamped matrix numbers: 12PAL 3027 ST-1 & 12PAL 3028 ST-1
Vinyl weight: 142g
The disc is housed within its original unlaminated semi-gloss black & white cover depicting The Beatles posing on/around a chair.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright & vivid pair with little more than a trace of wear to each centre hole but no spindle marks or other blemishes.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Bright & clean playing surfaces but with several noticeable surface marks & light scratches in strong daylight. Both sides still retain a healthy rainbow shine directly beneath halogen light along with some wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with normal handling/play. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This disc has received a moderate amount of play on good equipment and all tracks play cleanly and warmly, free from any groove/playwear distortion or crackle. In fact, apart from a little low-level vinyl background during 'Til There Was You', there is little to fault audible on this rare disc.
Cover: VERY GOOD
Always such a hard cover to find in good shape, this example is extremely respectable bearing just 'normal' handling & storagewear. Its only significant sign of wear are a few fleck of missing paper lifted from the front panel which run across the upper part of the 'B' and along the lower part of 'The'. There is some age toning to the rear panel but no writing anywhere. Both seams and the spine are unstressed & unsplit and the spine wording is still readable. No original inner-sleeve is present.
