Description

Stop! This is not mint.

Thanks for looking at this listing. For the purposes of my sales descriptions, and to avoid negative feedback, consider all discs to be very good+/-. Some will play/sound better than this. None will be mint.

If it's trashed I will say so!

Discs will be free from significant warps, and will sit flat on the turntable unless stated.. Labels will be free from graffiti/stickers/sticker residue unless stated.

Records have been play tested and will be free from jumps/sticks unless otherwise stated. Records have been cleaned whilst playing with a brush arm, but will usually benefit from further cleaning.

Up for grabs today is: -

The Beatles: Incredibly rare Ticket to ride 1965 pressing UK. This is the 3rd UK label variation with noticeably different "chubby" font, most likely pressed after the UK chart run in the Autumn of 1965. This label is as rare as hens teeth! This is only the third copy I have handled in around eight years of sifting through thousands of Beatles singles. I recently had the pleasure of trawling through over 4,000 Beatles singles at one sitting. This label was not among them! There are two variants of this label identified by Spizer. This is a combination of both variants. The variation occurs in the placement of the letters NCB on the publisher credits, where the N is placed in line with the E below it, or slightly ahead of it(see pics). It has taken me seven years to find both labels for my own collection. The disc is in fine condition, given its rarity. There are no sticks or jumps and the record plays with a good strong sound. However, there is a little light noise on the A side run-in. The record has many light marks.  The labels are clean, free from graffiti. co-incidentally, there are two copies currently up on eBay priced £50-60. This is a very respectable copy, priced according to rarity. This is one of those discs that a mint copy may elude you for a long time.

I sell to fund my own passion for Beatles records and thus these will not be top copies, usually sold on as upgrades have been found. They will rarely come with original sleeves.

Records posted in recycled record mailers with stiffeners.
