This final 'Yellow Parlophone' label pressing from 1969, ticks all the boxes for the anyone interested in making their Beatles collection complete. From the album's release in 1965 right through to mid 1969 all issues carried the common 'Sold In U.K.' label text. This pressing, with that information removed, was only available for a few short weeks during the second half of that year, before E.M.I. introduced the insipid 'Boxed' version, which still survives to this day. This label is, by far, the rarest 'Yellow' issue and is offered here, in truly outstanding condition

The Vinyl
Visually: Beautiful, jet black, surfaces with deep gloss lustre - looks like a new disc - just a few tiny surface lines, nothing more
Audio: As close to mint as you likely to find - flawless from start to finish - audiophile's dream - near silent run ins - fabulous, rich, stereo mix on this analogue pressing - the easily damaged 'Michelle' plays without the usual 'high end' blur, so common on the chorus, vocals are sublime throughout

The Labels
Top condition, with vibrant text - no spotting or writing - no embossed tax code - spindle trails are mainly concentrated close to the hole, which suggests careful handling and aligning of the disc

The Cover
Very strong example, made from thick card stock and feeling firm - the front panel features the darkest colour toning, associated with original issues - a few wrinkles but much better than most covers - flips are complete and in superb condition - pinched ends spine is perfect - back panel has toned with age but is otherwise in top shape

The Inner Sleeve
Correct, rice paper lined - 'made in England' - no splits or writing, lovely example
