Description
Revolver 1966
1st Pressing-Mono
PMC7009
Matrix: XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-1
Stampers: 1G and 1R
Both sides of the disc have retained most of their original lustre but do display numerous marks. Audio quality is truly fantastic, showing no appreciable deterioration and only mild static to the run ins. Most of the marks are harmless but there is some repetitive clicking on Here There and Everywhere and Good Day Sunshine. However, the whole disc plays through without any stalls or jumps.
The labels are in excellent condition, with vibrant undamaged text and just the usual collection of spindle trails.
The Garrod and Lofthouse cover is completely intact, with no tears or writing, only displaying general wear from its 45 years.
Comes with its original plain white inner sleeve which is in reasonable condition, with a bottom seam split where the disc has penetrated.
All in all, a rare and collectable item for any Beatles collector, featuring the withdrawn version of Tomorrow Never Knows.
I have other Beatles items listed, please take a look.
Please note: I am happy to sell world wide but please do not email me about postal cost. Your item will be well packaged and sent by air, insured and requiring a signature (also trackered, where available). As well as the postal cost there is also the cost of the packaging to consider. If you object to the amount then please don't bid. Thank you.
