Description

Beautiful VG+ 1st Press mono copy of Dexter Gordon's great 1955 LP Dexter Blows Hot and Cool on Dootone Records out of South Central Los Angeles. This is an extremely rare first press featuring maroon and white deep groove labels. Record has been ultrasonically cleaned using Klaudio system.

Vinyl: VG+. Vinyl is clean and shiny in superb condition, with a bit of overall background noise as would be customary for a 65 year old vinyl record. Except for one cosmetic mark which does not affect play, there are no skips, pops, or clicks. 

Cover: VG+. Cover is in great condition with iconic photo of Gordon in great shape. Top and bottom have seam splits that have been sealed closed with tape by an earlier owner in a very clean and non-obvious way. Spine has some wear but there is no seam splitting. Otherwise cover is structurally sound. See photos for details.

LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.

Packed expertly by professional shipping company and mailed within two days of receipt of payment via USPS Priority Mail with tracking number provided. Alternately, LP can be picked up for free locally in San Diego 92037 using safe methods (wearing masks and gloves).
