Description
The Battle of the Blue and Grey / The Three Kisses of Love Leedon LK-346 (1963)
Released 22 March, 1963, this is the very first 45 released by The Bee Gees. It had a 4 or 5 week on the lower reaches of the 2SM Top 100 (Sydney) in April/May 1963 and disappeared, never to be heard again. It is quite rare.
The record is in very, very good condition. Haven't played it, but I'd say it's a VG++, possibly a little better. The vinyl is shiny on both sides, and hardly any scuffs at all. There is some evidence of spindle marks around the hole, but very minimal. You may wait a long time to find one of these in this condition. The sleeve is a Leedon standard sleeve from the era, no picture sleeve was ever issued.
In 45+ years of collecting this is the first one of these I have come across. Rare is an overused word, but it applies here.
I will post internationally to US, UK, NZ, Canada, Japan, western Europe. I charge pretty close to actual cost.
