1977 Deutsche Grammophon Records release (2740 172 10). German pressing. Limited Edition, Numbered (79 of 1000) and autographed by von Karajan.
New and complete recordings of Beethoven's Nine Symphonies with Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall in 1977.
1000 copies of this edition were prepared especially for release in the United States.
9 disc set which includes one disc of von Karajan in conversation with Richard Osborne. Also included is a 12x12 insert bearing Number 79 and autographed, a panel poster and 44 page laminated book containing liner notes, pictures and text. The outside plastic sleeve is also autographed.
Vinyl in Near Mint condition. Housed in a box set in Near mint condition. The outside plastic cover has a few small tears and shows a bit of aging.
