Beethoven Archduke Trio David Oistrakh Trio Aust Columbia SAXO 2352
The David Oistrakh Trio (Oistrakh, Knushevisky and Oborin) performs the Beethoven Trio No. 7, the “Archduke”. An Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 2352), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border, and black stereophonic flash. There is a mark on side two that causes clicks for approx 12 revolutions – otherwise the records is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The heavy-duty English is in excellent condition.
