Beethoven Cello Sonatas Piatigorsky Solomon UK HMV ALP 1347
Gregor Piatigorsky and Solomon play the Beethoven “Sonatas for Cello and Piano”, No’s 4 and 5. An English mono pressing on the HMV Label (ALP 1347), the labels are red with gold lettering, large semi-circle dog logo and a groove. The record is of very good appearance with some surface marks and scuffs and it plays and sounds extremely well with consistent low-level surface noise and occasional clicks. The cover has rubbed with a tear near the top above the picture of nipper.
