Beethoven Overtures Klemperer UK Columbia SAX 2570
The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer perform the Beethoven Overtures, “Coriolan”, “Prometheus”, “Egmont”, “King Stephen”, and “The Consecration of the House”. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2570), the labels are red with white Columbia, sold in the U.K. and a large fan shaped note logo. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed slightly and is in supurb condition.
