!!!Sensational Copy!!!These turn up less and less, year on year!!!

Progressive delight!! Original dateprinted inner Swirl sleeve.

Absolutely lovely copy of this classic album. Earliest stampers (1Y//1  2Y//1) possible, indicate the  rarity of this copy. This album  rarely comes up for sale. This opportunity does not come around every day.

 

This is a very heavy slab of vinyl and pure quality!!!!! The vinyl looks stunning with a beautiful glossy sheen!!!  I played it all the way through, it sounds so much better than the CD remaster!! It has barely ever been played, I would estimate two plays at the most judging from the spindle marks. This vinyl looks PRISTINE!! Even under an intense light source there are no marks or lines!!! These first pressings are heavy vinyl and absolute quality!! Re-issues do just not measure up to the depth of the sound. This is just awesome!!! There are NO marks and NO hairlines. NO jumps, NO pops and NO skips.This album is playgraded on a Linn Sondek/ Rotel/ B&W set-up. The audio is simply MINDBLOWING!!!!

 The matt gatefold sleeve (Howard Printers Slough Ltd.) has two minimal creases to the back and a stain to the top right which looks like a coffee stain (see pic). Shame really, with a mint sleeve this would certainly have been a museum piece. Saying that the sleeve is nice and straight . The inside gatefold is excellent and totally unmarked. These very first sleeves were made of very tough cardboard . The opening is unbelievably crisp. A few corner and top edge scuffs. The spine is legible. There is NO writing, NO tape deposits, NO tears!!! This album retains its original "date printed"  Vertigo swirl polylined inner..
