This is an Advance Promotional Copy of the former Alice Cooper group members’ band, Billion Dolar Babies’ 1977 release “Battle Axe”. I’ve seen and owned a lot of promo LPs of this record but I’ve never come across this one. As the cover photo depicts, MGM Records, Inc. offers Album Label Copy and Mastering Instructions at the top, indicating which info should appear on the label and which should not, such as the individual song master numbers. At the bottom appears a release date, 3-29-77 as well as prices for tapes: $7.98 and LP: $6.98
