Well, what can I say.

A reluctant sale of this excellent EP from the hugely underrated, Billy Fury. The EP demonstrates the depth of his musical influences, way beyond the sugary pop that he was forced to perform in the 1950s and early 60s. This is seasoned performer paying tribute to his influences. Georgie Fame once played with his band and the excellent 'You Got Me Dizzy' is very Fame-esque, including organ solo. Also outstanding is the Ska classic, Turn Your Lamp Down Low. Billy may not be a 'Jackie Opal' but its a fine tribute to great sound.

What's the catch? It's scratched unfortunately, which spoils an otherwide NEAR-MINT copy of this rare, £100 gem. It doesn't jump, but does crackle on side two. However, if you're completing a collection or just looking for a bargain, the dice have rolled in your favour on this occasion with a Billy Fury & The Gamblers for under £50! Unheard of...
