Description
Cover is in wonderful shape for its age, like me! LOL.
Colors and graphics on the front and back are bright with no fading, see pics.
No splits, just minor wear on the corners from storage for decades.
The record is thickly made as was the custom back then, quality.
My Dad was a huge Bing fan, sadly of of the 4 story LPs this is the only one to survive.
Record plays fine on my Pioneer Turntable.
It was cleaned with my Spin Cleaner System.
Not the original sleeve, it just rotted away over the years.
The record has scuffs on the first 3 songs that results in some minor pops, but no skips.
On the back side there is also some scuffs but they do not cause any skips, just minor pops.
On Song 12 at approx 2 min 10 sec into the song there is a loud pop, but no skip.
Bing Crosby was enlisted to read and sing four of the stories and in addition to A Christmas Story there were
Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Never Be Afraid and Jack B. Nimble A Mother Goose Fantasy.
I listened to this as a kid, and so did my kids. Its just not Christmas without Bing.
