Up for sale is a very rare Black Flag 'Thirsty and Miserable' SST/Unicorn "promo" 7" vinyl 45 RPM single record. This vinyl record is in mint condition with no scratches, rubs, warps, finger prints or smudges, and no writing on the paper inlay. I played both sides of this single, on my high end turntable (no worries), and it is without any skips or other annoying pops or crackling. The sleeve is the original paper sleeve and it does have a little fading on one outside edge. Some audiophiles with say that Black Flags first single 'Nervous Breakdown' is the band's rarest vinyl release but I will have to disagree. SST pressed 2000 copies of the initial version of that single. There are currently 19 known additional versions of Nervous Breakdown not to mention all of the bootlegs. In comparison only 700 copies of the Thirsty and Miserable 'promo' single were pressed and only two "obvious" bootleg pressings are known. Also, the Thirsty and Miserable promo single was given away at a S F Bay area Licorice Pizza to fans that bought tickets to see Black Flag live. It's said, on good authority, that "not that many" of the singles were given out AND the ones that were left were "thrown in the dumpster behind Licorice Pizza. If you think my asking price for this very rare single is out of line, I strongly encourage you to visit the Discogs website and look at not only the asking prices for this single but more importantly the sold prices. Also, I am offering free shipping on this single and it will be shipped in an appropriate hard cardboard box designed specifically for safely shipping vinyl.
