DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - 1st self titled LP. Complete, original UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, small swirl label, correct matt gate fold sleeve with Dunbar credit for "Warning" and the original Vertigo reverse swirl inner. A really clean, nice sounding and fantastic looking copy . Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO66 847 903 VTY. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a really nice sheen and some light brushing lines only under artificial light. Played majority of this tonight on my budget deck. I will play it all through just to check and upgrade the listing in next few days. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays through well. Music is clean, clear and loud. It has a trace of background sound in the intro to "Black Sabbath" and in a couple of near silent passages in "Warning". Gate fold sleeve is in top condition . It is firm and square and retains great shape. It has light edge wear , light corner wear and less than light creasing. Inside of gate fold is really clean with no faults. Spine is fully legible, retains great shape and less than light wear. Original swirl inner is in EX condition with light wear and no splits.. Poly is still fully attached and it has only 1 x 2cm tear around the centre. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Very nice sounding and even better looking complete UK pressing. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
