Black Sabbath - 1st LP
(Vertigo VO 6 UK LP 1970)
This is an early UK LP pressing on the Swirl Vertigo label. It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has the "Vertigo Recordings" copyright credit on the inner gatefold. It comes with its original polythene lined company "swirl" inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has a small swirl logo on Side 2's label. It has 1Y#-1/ 2Y#-2 matrix numbers. A genuine UK "Swirl" pressing of this classic Hard Rock Prog LP.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is some light or mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light rubbing wear to the top edge & sleeve opening. VG++ condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 3-4 very small 0.5 to 2 cm marks. VG+ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show light or mild spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to mild ringwear & creasing. There is one very small tear but no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a couple of areas of more moderate crackle too. There is a mild click near the start of Side 1.
