Rare compilation from Sabbath's first two albums, 'Black Sabbath' and 'Paranoid' released by Vertigo for the German book club, "Bertelsmann Club" - Club Sonderauflage. There are three original initial pressing variations of this record. Two were issued in the late Fall of 1970 and the last [this one] in the early Winter of 1971. All have a different catalog number and slight differences in the artwork. This is not the 1972 Second Edition reissue, nor the 2006 Italian repressing.
Vinyl Playback: NM- Near perfect playback. 'Vertigo' quality audio. Sounds fantastic. Audio play grade: 9.5/10. This record has been play-graded from start to finish, on both sides.
Cover: NM- Fully laminated. A thin lift is seen along the front spine. Still, the lamination remains firmly in place. Minimal incidental signs of general usage. The cover is in impeccable, gorgeous condition. No blemishes of concern whatsoever.
Vinyl Visual: NM- Whispy superficial spider lines are seen.

Vinyl Play Grades
M: Still sealed
M-: An opened item that appears 'M'. Virtually perfect playback.
NM: A few minor visual imperfections with virtually no audible impact. Top quality play.
EX: A few more surface marks than NM with very few audible imperfections. Quality play.
VG+: Surface scuffs and lines. Some light surface noise or a few tics or pops. Enjoyable play.
VG: Defined scuffs, lines, and scratches. More surface noise, tics, and pops than VG+. Acceptible play.
G: Heavy wear, deep scratches, with egregious surface noise, clicks, and pops. Poor play.
Hybrid Example: Vinyl which is VG in appearance but plays NM. = Visual Grade: VG Playback Grade: NM
The reverse may also occur. = Visual Grade: NM Playgrade: VG
Album covers are graded on a case by case basis given the myriad of issues which may impact each.
All grading is completely subjective and provided to the best of my ability.
