Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality. 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, small swirl label, embossed box sleeve. It also comes with a replica/reproduction swirl inner that someone had the cheek to send to me without saying it was a replica. You might as well have it, I will also post the LP in a new white inner . Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, a lot of light brushing lines and some scuffs and hairlines. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. I could not play it too loud as the neighbours are still not speaking to me after my Motorhead playgrading a few weeks ago. I will play it all this weekend and update the listing. Anyway, Record sits flat on the turntable. Music is loud and prominent throughout. The louder fuller tracks (thats most of them) play around EX, really powerful and pretty clean. "Orchid" is usually a decent test. It has some background sound and the odd tick but music remains prominent and loud. "Solitude" also has a trickle of background sound and some ticks but again music remains prominent. Very listenable copy. Embossed box cover retains decent shape. Its been stored with 2 stiffeners inside the box so its not flattened out like they usually are. It is firm and square and has near heavy edge wear, corner wear and moderate creasing. Tiny piece of tape on one corner. The top opening flap has a 2cm tear down middle butis complete and intact. Some of the print has come off the edges- check out the photos. Phoney swirl inner is NM, as new and would cost you about £7 in its own right on Ebay. Really clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Decent sounding 1st UK pressing. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. EMAIL ME FIRST AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM! CHEERS- STAN.
