CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some hairlines, brushing lines and scuffs. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. It plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps. It generally plays okay but it has significant crackle on Side One despite being cleaned on a Pro-ject RCM. It may, or may not improve with a clean on a better RCM. Side One has loud, full tracks that sound okay. The crackle is apparent between the tracks and is obviously worse in the quieter passages. Side Two is less crackly and is a decent listen despite some tracks ("Orchid" and "Solitude" ) being quieter than those on Side One. Side Two does not actually sound much different to usual. Im hazarding a guess that the problem on side 1 is the result of storage in a poly lined inner over many years though "bag rash" is not visible on the vinyl. Box cover retains excellent shape. It has been stored with 2 cut stiffeners inside to preserve the shape. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. No areas of really significant laminate lift. The rear of sleeve is really flat and clean. There is an area towards the bottom of one edge that has a small well repaired puncture, hence low grade, check out the photos You would not easily notice it if you were not looking for it. Clean labels. Check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 40-50 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
POSTAGE COST INCLUDES TRACKING AND A BOX MAILER.
