Fantastic copy of Black Sabbath's Master of Reality, Original UK pressing with Vertigo Swirl Label and Fully laminated Box and un-split original poly lined Vertigo Swirl Inner sleeve.
The Box sleeve is in excellent condition with no tears or writing, it is without a doubt the best example of this box that I have seen, all the others have either been ripped or torn and all without exception are more like a flattened box rather than the sleeve actually keeping it’s shape as a box. There are a couple of creases that are unavoidable with this sleeve and on the reverse if you hold box to the light you can see where someone has written on a piece of paper on top of the box, this can only be seen at an angle with a very bright light.
The inner sleeve is also in excellent condition with no tears, writing or seem splits.
The vinyl plays superbly well, it lays flat on my deck and produces a fantastic sound, there are some extremely light static hisses at the start of each side, this vinyl has not been played for over 30 years and these background noises do diminish after each play and to be honest it would not surprise me if they disappear all together over a period of plays but we are talking about the beginning of the record and not the songs.
Each songs plays superb without distortion or interference and produces fantastic sound quality, there are 5 or 6 “ticks” at the end of sweat leaf on side 2 but other than that it is tip top. Under a 100 watt bulb you can see some wispy dust marks that would lead me to giving it a grading of excellent condition but I could not see any scratches or needle damage, under normal light this vinyl looks stone mint and has been very well cared for by the original owner.
As always you are welcome to return this record if you feel that it is not as described correctly but I will be surprised if you are not happy with the sound quality.
