Description
Prestige Bluesville 1040, "Last Session" with Blind Willie McTell, vocals and 12-string guitar; from 1962. This is an original sealed copy and is presumed mint; there is no visible damage to the jacket, not even age toning, and no sign of moisture damage. This may or may not be an original DG copy; my X-ray vision is not what it once was. However, this is definitely not a reissue (see Bergenfield, NJ address in scan). This is a wonderful set in which BWM sings a wide range of material, not only blues. It was recorded several years before the actual LP was released. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $10.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional single LPs in a single package are $1.00 extra within U.S. and Canada, $3.00 overseas. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $14.50 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
