Item Description:
Blue Note Records BLP 1544 (mono) (made in USA) - Hank Mobley And His All Stars LP released in 1957. This is an original first pressing with "deep groove" labels. The address on the labels is "Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd New York 23". The "ear" and "RVG" are etched in the dead wax on both sides of the record. There is no "R" in a circle on the labels. The address on the back cover is "Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd Street., New York 23".
Personnel and song selections are on labels and back cover (see scans).
The condition of the record is Good+, there are numerous scratches on both sides of the record, a few of them quite deep; plays without skipping. The cover is in VG- condition, the top seam is split for 4 inches from the open edge, the bottom seam is heavily and inexpertly taped; the spine is abraded on the upper portion.
