Top of the top Italian Library released about 1970 by the studio combo 'Blue Sharks', with music signed by the talented composer Ninni Carucci along with the obscure pseudonym 'Ipcress'. Oustanding Hard Rock and Progressive entirely instrumental album also mentioned in Italian Prog. archives, composed and realized by the singer, songwriter and musician Carmelo Carucci who also produced some Prog. stuff in the early '70s. Elusive Hard Progressive Rock strongly influenced music with loads of Prog. riffs / Psychedelic and Fuzz guitars / Progressive Hammond with stoned Wah-Wah effects / Symphonic and Lounge Rock with Jazz-Rock and Modal cues / stunning Bossa Rock beats and Baroque vibes / dope Hip Hop Breakbeats / Moods and Samples. Lovely album from start to finish and great for DJs and Groove hunters!

Our soundclip starts with the Prog. trip of "WAITING THE BLOW" which gives Killer Downtempo drum Breaks with stoned bassline, pounding rhythms and dope Fuzz guitar notes; Hammond additions and Bossa drumming cues. "A 'WATT' TOO MUCH" follows with its killing Psychedelic loops and heavy drums set, outstanding groovy Funk rhythms. "HANDY GOES TO THE PUB" is another Funk nugget also comped on Suono Libero vol.2 with super-infectious groovy sound. Hippie Wah-Wah Prog. Funk on "THE NEWCOMER" with stunning drum Breaks and organ and piano accompaniment. Loads of Insane Psychedelic and Bossa rockin' beats on "THE BISHOP'S HOUSE". Great Moody Baroque Funk on "A BAROQUE JOKE", dope infectious grooves on "IT BECAME CRYSTAL" with dramatic Score themes. "A SORT OF WITCHERY" is strange Pop and Bossa theme with Breaks, dark Modal Jazz on "A CHARMING HYPOTHESIS". Don't miss this gem!
