Description

Bob Dylan “Blonde On Blonde” 1968 second edition Pitman pressing Columbia Records (# C2S 841 stereo) in a gatefold cardboard sleeve. Both records’ gradings are Excellent (EX). Play tested sounding great with no ticks and just minor crackling in softer parts. The vinyl is very clean with a nice weight to it. There are no skips. The following is on the runout groove (some shown in photos):


  • Side A): (stamped) XSM 113765-3A P 2 3

  • Side B): (stamped) o XSM 113766-2D P 1

  • Side C): (stamped) o XSM 113767-2D P

  • Side D): (stamped) o XSM 113768-2J P

  • NOTES: 

  • * Issued on red Columbia 2-eye labels with "360 Sound" and "STEREO" in white lettering at the bottom, no "Nonbreakable" text, and "Walking Eye" logo to the left of "Marcas Reg.," design introduced after 1967.

  • * Gatefold cover with seven pictures inside.

  • * "P" stamped in runouts denotes Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman, pressing. Remainder of runouts stamped.

  • * Track B2 is titled "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The" on label and "Memphis Blues Again" on inner gatefold.

  • * Crossover between first stereo release and all later reissues.

  • * The mix heard on side 1 is the revisited stereo mix (denoted by -3 in the matrix number). Side 2, 3 and 4 containing the original stereo mix (denoted by -2 in the matrix number).


The outer case is also Excellent (EX). The covers are clean with minimal age/ring wear. The inner gatefold is also clean with very light wear. The spine has some wear at the bottom. Both seams have minimal wear. It is sturdy with no splits. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.


NOTE:  This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
