Description

"Bob Dylan" - stereo vinyl LP, Columbia CS 8579 (USA), 19 Mar 1962:

This copy of Bob Dylan's Debut album is the rare first release-first variant in Stereo with the Columbia Six-Eye label, Bob Dylan on two lines, no songs above the hole, the rear sleeve has a "4" at the bottom right. The matrix numbers on the album are: Side 1 - XSM-55621-1E, Side 2 - XSM-55622-1F. This album is in excellent shape and plays wonderfully with clean vibrant sound. It is the thicker vinyl used in early recordings and has the "NONBREAKAGE" stamp on the label. The original Columbia US generic blue with stripes inner sleeve has been replaced with a Columbia "Sounds of Revolutionaries" sixties era sleeve. There is "REED." written in red marker about an inch long in the upper right corner of the rear jacket, but the front is pristine with vibrant colors, clean and crisp.
