Description

         Two (2) rare  Bob Dylan  45 RPM records (these are not CD's)

 

1.  "Positively 4th Street", backed with "From a Buick 6"

>> original Columbia Records release, not a later reissue, in its original picture sleeve; catalog # 4-43389 <<

CONDITION [conservative grading]:

- the vinyl has been PLAY-GRADED (we don't "visually grade", and have no idea how anyone can) in MINT condition, clean as a whistle and sounds flawless

- the picture sleeve is graded VERY GOOD (NO seam splits or stains; three very small holes in the front, at the song title area; very minor ring wear)

 

2.  MIS-PRESSED 45:  "Positively 4th Street" (NOT! - see below), backed with "From a Buick 6"

The A-side does not play "4th St.", but instead it's the scarce first version of "Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window" (it's NOT the same version that was released on the Columbia 45 of the same name, which was catalog #4-43477...confusing, no?)

>> this original Columbia Records release also bears the catalog # 4-43389, and looks just like it, but the A-side is mispressed; the matrix number in the "dead wax" area ends in 1B, FYI; the B-side is the same version as item 1, above <<

CONDITION [conservative grading]:

- UNFORTUNATELY, the vinyl on the A-side suffers from a former owner spilling some goop on it, some substance we've been unable to remove, so that THE FINAL PART of the song (less than 1/4 of the total) skips.  Our low starting price for this pair of rare records reflects this. The "non-goop" portion of the side plays NEAR MINT, FYI. 

The B-side (the same version of "Buick 6") is play-graded in MINT condition, clean as a whistle and sounds flawless.
