Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

  • This is a 1969 reissue (black cover) of the original 1961 release (white cover).
  • This copy has never been played.
  • It is a First Pressing of the reissued version with the yellow ATCO pinwheel label.
  • The paper on board cover has tight seams, shows some storage wear and has a saw cut upper left.
  • The original inner sleeve is included. It has a seam split.
  • The Free Bonus is a 7" single of "The Lady Came From Baltimore" written by Tim Hardin who also wrote one of Darin's biggest hits "If I Was A Carpenter". "...Baltimore" was one of Drin's last singles. It is in the original Atlantic Records sleeve. It has never been played.
  • These are one-owners that the Seller got new from the cutout bin in his record store in 1969. They have been in storage for 51 years.
