Crystal Ball 464-33 mono 

1974 45 RPM 7 inch single release by Bobby Hebb, of "Sunny" fame. Still searching for a follow-up to his 1966 smash, in '74-eight years after his career-defining hit, he released this record on the obscure Salem, Massachusetts label, Crystal Ball. Disc was a non-seller, but it has been rediscovered in recent years and recognized as a Boogaloo Funk masterpiece and a Northern Soul collectible. "Evil Women" uses African drums, and has several rhythm-only sections which offer lots of tasty beats and breaks. B side is a pleasant Northern Soul ballad. Copy at hand has a small collection of light to moderate scratches on both sides-nothing at all serious. Plays nicely with a few minor pops at the beginning and only minor surface noise-music is loud & clear. (Music player MP3 is from our copy of the disc and is EXACTLY representative of it's sound.) We note that the only other copies we can find on the web are listed for extremely high sums.
