Description
Los Angeles based vibraphonist has a short but splendid career. He was inspired to switch from drums to vibraphones after hearing Cal Tjader who had done the same. Bobby recorded only 7 or 8 LPs for GNP-Crescendo, Jubilee, Blue Note and World-Pacific before walking away from the music industry at the height of his enormous popularity, in particular in Los Angeles.
Vinyl: Mint minus I inherited this LP from my audiophile uncle who bought it new off the shelf and played it once to record it on reel to reel. I have my own copy so I never played this LP
Jacket has no seam separation, there is minimal wear on top edge, side edge also has some wear slightly impairing the printed info. Bottom edge has a 1-inch tear in the center. Front cover has a glossy finish with a bit of rub wear and spotting. Corners are intact. Back cover has a very small cover tear in upper right hand corner exposing the cardboard and some rub wear.
