Bobby Williams
Funky Superfly
REW Records LP 330-2
OG 1974 Pressing
Cover VG/- General wear, staining on back cover. Small split at center of bottom seam, as well as center and right edge of top seam. In solid shape regardless, see pictures.
Record VG+ Aside from a few 30 year old fingerprints and some sleeve scuffs the disc is in great shape. Please note that there are some minor flaws in the vinyl due to the quality of the pressing, but it sounds great with very minimal noise. Judging by the lack of spindle marks the record has been played very little.
Side 1: Funky Superfly Pt.1, Funky Super fly Pt.2, Morning Of Love, Let's Jam, Teach Me
Side 2: Soul Party, Get Into It, Make Yourself Funky, Fair Trade
One of the heaviest of heavy weight funk pieces- but y'all already knew that. Back cover is completely blank, front cover has the address for the Chicago and Miami chapters of the Bobby Williams Fan Club and an offer for a free copy of the LP. Rarer than the photo cover version on the R&R label, and that's saying something. I don't throw around the term Holy Grail, but this one deserves the title. Music is gritty J.B. style funk with a few ballads in between. I really hate to part with it, but unfortunately I need the bread. Enjoy!
