Up for auction is a pristine, factory-sealed audiophile treasure: Johannes Brahms' radiant Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 73. This historical performance is beautifully rendered by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of the legendary and deeply revered conductor István Kertész.


This particular release is an elite entry in London/King Records' esteemed "The Super Analogue Disc" series (Catalog: KIJC 9221), manufactured in the late 1990s. Mastered directly from the original analog master tapes, this premium 180-gram heavy vinyl pressing captures incredible instrument separation, unparalleled mid-range presence, and the signature rich acoustic resonance of the Vienna concert hall. The vinyl was meticulously pressed in the United States by RTI (Record Technology Inc.).
