Description

Blue label with silver text. This issue include an 8 page booklet. The booklet contains an essay by Charles Edward Smith as well as lyrics to the 7 tracks. Copyright, 1955. This is a solo performance by McGhee who sings and plays guitar. David Stone Martin jacket and booklet cover art. Very rare edition.

Cover: VG 8" split on the bottom edge; 1" split on the top edge. Some aging on the front cover and on the text on the back cover. Slight aging to the booklet.

Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. 2 small light surface rub marks and 1 tiny discoloration mark that appears on the vinyl. This mark can be considered minor and does not affect the sound. A very small number of clicks on Track 1 and Track 4 on Side 2. There are no visible surface marks that may have caused this slight noise. The noise may be in the pressing. In general the sound is fine with only the small noise described. Fine overall condition for this early 10" recording. Audibly checked.
