Description
From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this jazz classic. Buddy DeFranco. The Artistry of Buddy DeFranco. US pressing. 1954. Norgran Records. MGN 1012. Record in Very Good Plus condition, some minor scratches that don’t affect play (occasional clicks and crackles in quitter passages) and what appear to be stains that also don’t affect play. Note: I’ve played this through on my Linear Design GST 1 turntable, a hefty 70s monster that’s guaranteed to pretty much play anything (I can’t predict if this would sound any different on a girly modern turntable, though it certainly wouldn’t sound any better). Cover in Good condition, chipping on spine, remains of price sticker on front with minor paper loss, age staining, tape repair. Cover in Very Good condition, some spine and edge chipping. Check my other auctions for rarities and extremities including AC/DC and, coming up, 70s Aussie rock, rare cult UK rock, US psychedelic, punk, prog, jazz, rare box sets, and a whole lot more.
