BUDDY HOLLY - BROWN EYED HANDSOME MAN / WISHING b/w BO DIDDLEY / TRUE LOVE WAYS
US CORAL EP EC 81193 SUPERB NEAR MINT CONDITION!
Here is a very rare EP by Buddy Holly, "Brown Eyed Handsome Man." This was released by Coral Records (EC 81193) in ( I believe) 1963. This super condition vinyl 45 rpm EP record is minimally VG++, closer to VG++++ actually, with essentially NOTHING that can be seen that could be described as a flaw. Viewed under direct bright light there is nothing that can be discerned. This 45 is supremely clean and retains superb gloss. It is tempting to grade it Mint-, or conceivably better, it is that clean!
Stamped matrix info reads: "S 4466 1/S 4467 1." Songs contained on this EP are: Brown Eyed Handsome Man, Wishing, Bo Diddley, and True Love Ways. Picture sleeve is minimally VG+, very conservatively graded, with no seam splits. The spine & top & bottom edges of the EP are beautifully clean, square, straight, intact & undamaged. Amazing, really, for a sleeve of this vintage. Only the tiniest little indentation, just above the cut out hole, detracts from the spine being 100% perfect.
The front of the picture sleeve is near perfect, see the photo for evidence of this. There is one tiny white mark just above the left hand side of Buddy's face, approximately under the letter "R" in the CORAL logo at the top right of the sleeve. This is minor, but I mention it nonetheless. There is one hole drilled through the jacket - in the front upper right corner The front still retains a superb gloss and the colors are wonderfully bright, clean, crisp & clear. The rear of the sleeve is also in fine condition, see the photo for evidence of this.

This is a fantastic condition copy of an extremely rare EP, with both sleeve & disc being miraculously well preserved. Tough to imagine a cleaner copy showing up....
