You are bidding on a one of kind item.   This promotional record of Peggy Sue by Buddy Holly and the Crickets was given by Cricket drummer Jerry "J I " Allison  to his former wife Peggy Sue Gerron in either 1957 or 1958.  The inscription is faded but you can still read it.  It says "To Peggy Sue with all my love, Jerry".   A hand written note on Cricket letterhead from Jerry will accompany the record.  The note reads August 21, 2012,   This 45RPM Coral Recording of "Peggy Sue" is a promotion copy that I signed and gave to Peggy Sue Gerron in 1957 or 1958.  I guess she gave it back.   Jerry Allison.   While cleaning his attick,  Jerry found this and decided to put it on ebay.  Again,  this comes directly from Jerry Allison.  Buyer to pay $4.00 for shipping  in the U.S.  Buyer to pay exact shipping to England.  Please email with any questions.
