CONDITION.
I can confidently describe the record as an EXCELLENT example.
SOUND OUTPUT is clear, bright and the quiet parts play as enjoyably cleanly as the loud parts, only light static crackle to be heard from time to time.
NO jumps OR cyclic ticks
COSMETICALLY the vinyl is bright and shiny, has no scuffs or stylus runs, just a few very light or “micro” cosmetic marks only, that do NOT produce audio artifacts when the record is played.
It’s clean and is free of any dullness or patchiness.
I am happy to send an unmodified “true” mp3 file from this actual LP, of representative examples of various tracks, quiet and loud, and the transition points between them to give an example of the true “background” condition.
The labels are clean and free of any graffiti; I have added full size photographs of the labels for assessment.
The outer sleeve is clean and free of any scuffs or peel. It has the original female owners name (Jan Power) in faint fountain pen in the very top right corner.
It has light ring wear only on the top right quadrant only, and minor “partial” creases on the other three corners at the perimeter of the record.
The rear side has very light ring wear only, being Mild whitening only to parts of the black pigment to the last couple of inches only of the mostly plain part of the rear side bottom edge, and a few light partial creases only.
There is NO splitting or record “knock through” on any of the edges and the credits are clear and complete on the spine edge.
The inner sleeve is the original plain white paper one; this was decorated by the young lady who originally owned this with some eagle / birdlike sci fi doodles, the track listing, the band and title in a “cross word” and two of the bands names. (Guess she had a thing for them)
As it was just a generic white sleeve it’s not a value minus, and personally speaking gives it a nice bit of authentic band worship feel, drawn no doubt as she listened to the record.
