This lot contains 2 items:

1 - Burnt Weenie Sandwich - Mothers Of Invention (Frank Zappa) Simply Vinyl Rykodisc #SVLP0025 (1991)         Item consists of vinyl record, single fold cardboard sleeve, and protective paper inner sleeve.
2 - Ten Years on the Road with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - Promo Booklet(?)
        Item consists of booklet containing historical Zappa & Mothers photos & other info, 5 promo photos (3 of which have small         holes in the corners from being tacked to wall or bulletin board). And a "family tree" that shows the personnel history of          Zappa's touring/studio musicians from 1964-1974.
Burnt Weeny Sandwich is the sixth studio album by the American rock band the Mothers of Invention, and the ninth overall by Frank Zappa, released in 1970. It consists of both studio recordings and live elements. In contrast to the next album Weasels Ripped My Flesh, which is predominantly live and song-oriented, most of Burnt Weeny Sandwich focuses on studio recordings and tightly arranged compositions.
The album's unusual title, Zappa would later say in an interview, comes from an actual snack that he enjoyed eating, consisting of a burnt Hebrew National hot dog sandwiched between two pieces of bread with mustard.
The album was essentially a 'posthumous' Mothers release having been released after Frank Zappa dissolved the band. I've tried to filter the product photos and enhance visual defects in an effort to be as transparent as possible as to the condition of these items.
