Byrd Moore and His Hot Shots do some great country harmony and

picking, "Three MenWent A Hunting" and "Careless Love" on Viva-Tonal Columbia 15496-D.


Photo shows Byrd Moore guitar on the left, fiddler Clarence Greene

center, and Tom (Clarence) Ashley guitar, on the right.


Both sides were recorded in Johnson City Tennessee on October 23,

1929.


The record is in excellent (E) condition, but there is a dime-size

dimple causing a faint thump on the A side, and little or no noise on

the B side.
