C86, where did it all begin? 'Well, the tape that was available through the NME... which was then reissued on vinyl in 1990' I hear you answer. Well yes, but!! Actually, so that DJs and journalists could more easily access tracks (and play them out on the radio), there was a limited run of 500 promotional copies pressed onto vinyl, which were sent out at around the same time that the tape was made available. As you can probably imagine, these original promotional LPs are very hard to find these days, but what we have up for auction here is a 'Mayking' *test pressing* for one of these original promotional LPs, dated 30th May 1986. Just check the track listing, this is a *great* item, and in pretty much perfect condition. This is where it all began, kids! The Small Print, PLEASE READ!!!!
