Boogie with Canned Heat is the second album by Canned Heat, released in 1968. Unlike their debut Album, it features mostly original material. It included the top 10 hit "On the Road Again," one of their best known songs. "Amphetamine Annie," a warning about the dangers of amphetamine abuse, also received considerable airplay. "Fried Hockey Boogie" was the first example of one of Canned Heat's boogies, or loose jams.
This first issue is a superb example with a heavy quality vinyl disc and a glossy front laminated picture sleeve.
The record labels are in undamaged Near Mint condition, the labels show only a few signs of play around each centre spindle hole, all printed text is clearly legible.
Side 1 matrix lettering are LBL 83103 A2 421 1 and Side 2: LBL 83103 B1 420 1.
Both sides of the heavy quality vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, clean and bright Vinyl surfaces showing a couple of non sounding surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays throughout with NO skips or clicks, and a very nice sound quality
And is housed in its glossy original Issue Front Laminated Picture Sleeve.
The Picture sleeve is a stunning example in Near Mint condition. The front laminated and back panels are beautiful, almost as new firm and glossy with just a small crease to the bottom left corner, and no signs of record storage. The edges and spine edge are free from splits and the wording on the spine is perfectly legible.
