Description

Very rare true first pressing of this classic Blue Note album with Miles Davis. "Ear" and "9M" in deadwax, no "inc" on label or cover...deep groove on both sides...no "r" under the Note on record label...all indicators of a true 1st pressing are present and correct on this copy! Glorious mono sound. Conservatively graded VG+ for vinyl..has a long cosmetic scuff mark(cannot be felt) on side one which does not produce any noise. Side two looks mint under normal light but bright light reveals a few cosmetic scuff markings. Playback is strong VG+ on both sides with just some very soft low level background crackle audible in spots. No loud pops or tics at all! Cover is very close to NM if not for a small little crease seen in close up picture. Otherwise in very nice condition! So overall not a true MINT copy but a very strong keeper copy nonetheless that would be tough to upgrade on..unless you are willing to spend the $500 or so needed for a mint copy. Missing original innersleeve so I enclosed a Mobile Fidelity innersleeve.
