This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

Vinyl:
QUALITY 126g
VG... Lovely high gloss sheen and as flat as the day it was bought. SHe does carry some marks from parties, with some visible marks to the vinyl on both sides-but still sounded great!
After playing her ALL THE WAY THROUGH, I found a tiny, tiny skip on side 2, track 5, as well as more crackle on side 2.
Side 1 sounds glorious a rich.
I am sure a gentle professional clean will help.

Labels: EX-. YEP!! Lovely and clean. Only a couple light spindle marks evident when angled to the light.
WITH BARELY ANY hole wear to either side.

Inner Sleeve: VG+. It is the ORIGINAL flame inner, but states:
"MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" so these rare beauties must have been imported in...very unusual.
She does have a split to the bottom, but would frame very well-the other sides are intact.
STILL VIBRANT IN COLOUR
Cut-Outs: NEAR MINT....Say no more-all ORIGINAL and dark green...Also states "Made In England" to the bottom left corner-so must have been sent over with The Fool inner...

I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS 1ST PRINITING OF THIS COVER IN SUCH FANTASTIC CONDITION!!!
It is on HEAVY card stock and of course is GATEFOLD.
To the back, bottom right-there is NO MENTION of NEMS etc and only states "Litho In Canada" This shows this is the very 1st off the printing press, back in 1967.
The condition is sikmply magical, with BRIGHT COLOURS, barely any rubbing to the corners and minimal rubbing to the typically problematic back-SUPERB!
The really unusual part to notice is the super-wide spine: 7mm! Just like the WIDESPINE UK version. Clearly legible and in TOP condition.
The inner gatefold has the catalogue number SMAS 2653, just above George's left shoulder.
