Music By Alan Silvestri
The stunning new score is helmed by Alan Silvestri, who was once at the top of the mountain as far as action movie soundtracks (BACK TO THE FUTURE, PREDATOR, THE ABYSS, JUDGE DREDD, RICOCHET), but lately fell into a bit of a creative slump in the same genre, BEOWULF, THE A-TEAM. Perhaps his successes with family films (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, THE POLAR EXPRESS, A CHRISTMAS CAROL) gave him the introspective jumpstart to get his juices flowing again. Whatever the case, Silvestri is back with renewed vigor and firing on all cylinders. The style of Predator is clearly present and provides prehaps one of best scores for some time.
