Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl stereo LP record by Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band - Mirror Man. A 1st pressing, it was issued in the US by Buddha Records in 1971 and has the catalogue number BDS 5077.

Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is quite bright and clean and while close inspection will reveal a few light surface marks, there are no worrying scratches. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking, I didn’t hear a single click and background crackle/noise is almost non-existent.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original intricate die-cut gatefold sleeve which is quite artistically fashioned. No damage or splits but light corner/stress creasing is present. Plain white inner sleeve, presumably as issued, which is a little discoloured towards the edges with a small split on one side to the inner ring.
History - Oddly, 1st pressings of this album seem to have appeared with two different centre labels - this one and an alternate, which is reddish brown. However, both have identical etched runout matrix codes. Rear cover states that the album comprises material recorded one one night in 1965 (in reality it was 1967) and just four lengthy compositions appear …
